BHP Billiton believes Australia’s next big oil find - if there is one - could be hiding beneath the waters of the Beagle sub-basin off the coast of northwest Western Australia, where BHP has identified four leads, or prospects, in the sub-basin that each have the 'potential of over 400 million barrels recoverable'.
