AWE Limited, the Operator of Permits L1/L2 in the Perth Basin, Western Australia, advised Friday that the Waitsia-1 appraisal well was at 3,367m MDRT and was completing coring operations before drilling ahead to the planned TD of 4,050m. Two sections of core were cut in the primary target, the Kingia and High Cliff Sandstones.
